Feeling Good

I caught a cold; snuffles, sneezing and a cough a couple of days ago and have been ‘feeling under the weather’. I realized that how I am feeling physically doesn’t need to prohibit hopefulness. Even though my energy level is lower and it is an inconvenience to be ‘drinking plenty of fluids and resting’ I know I can look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence. I can believe, desire and trust the world I am living in.

“Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all.” ― Emily Dickinson

There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something tomorrow. ~ Orison Swett Marden
